Our Story

Molly V’s Homemade Ice Cream first opened as a food trailer in April 2022. Thanks to incredible community support, we expanded into our permanent storefront at 31 W. Main Street in Downtown Victor in November 2023.

The Storefront is open seven days a week, all year long. We offer more than 40 homemade ice cream flavors as well as milkshakes, hot drinks, Affogato, and our famous brownie sundaes.

The full‑size mobile trailer can store and serve over 20 unique homemade flavors, while our portable ice cream cart offers up to six flavors—perfect for smaller gatherings like weddings, corporate events, and family celebrations. We are now booking both public and private events for 2026

Mike’s love for ice cream started back in the 1970s, when he worked at Mello‑Rich in Geneva, NY as a high schooler. Making homemade ice cream stuck with him, and decades later he decided to bring that passion back to life. As Mike always says, “Who doesn’t love ice cream? Who doesn’t love homemade ice cream?”

In early 2022, he purchased his first commercial ice cream machine and began crafting flavors. He shared samples throughout the community, gathering feedback on what people loved and what they wanted more of. After refining his recipes, he launched with flavors like Caramel Brownie, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Mint Oreo. They are still fan favorites. Today, Molly V’s continues to grow with seasonal creations, non‑dairy and gluten‑free options, and even alcohol‑infused flavors for guests 21 and older.

Where did the name come from? Molly V’s is named in loving memory of the family’s Goldendoodle, Molly. To honor her, we also offer frozen dog bones made with yogurt, peanut butter, and bananas.

We value every customer and strive to create a warm, hometown atmosphere—whether you visit us downtown or invite us to your event. Take a moment to relax and treat yourself to homemade ice cream from Molly V’s.
