Molly V’s Homemade Ice Cream can now be enjoyed at our new storefront located at 31 W. Main Street in downtown Victor. We are also booking public and private events for both our mobile trailer that can store/serve over 20 unique homemade flavors and a portable ice cream cart that can serve up to six homemade flavors. The ice cream cart is ideal for smaller events, such as, weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations.

As a high schooler in the 1970’s, Mike worked for Mello-Rich in Geneva, NY where he made homemade ice cream. This always stuck with him and decades later, decided to bring back his passion. He always said, who doesn’t love ice cream, who doesn’t love homemade ice cream?

With the purchase of the machine in early 2022, it was time to start the ice cream making process. Many samples were handed out throughout the community and surrounding areas asking for feedback. What would you change, does it need more flavor, what flavors would you like to see? After gathering this valuable information, Mike tweaked some of the formulas and came up with the starting flavors including Caramel Brownie, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Mint Oreo. Molly V’s offers many delicious flavors and continuously adds seasonal and creative flavors to the menu. In addition, there are non-dairy options, gluten free options and alcohol flavors (for the 21 year and older crowds).

Where did the name Molly V’s come from? Molly V’s is named after the family’s late nine year-old Goldendoodle. She passed away unexpectedly on New Year’s Eve 2020. Molly was a beloved and loyal family dog. She went everywhere with our family, including trips to Outer Banks of North Carolina, Boston and Lake Placid. Aside from naming the business after her, we also sell frozen dog bones made with yogurt, peanut butter and bananas.

Molly V’s Homemade Ice Cream officially opened as a food trailer in April 2022. The success of the food trailer has led us to expanding into a permanent storefront as of November 2023. We value our customers and look forward to continuing to serve homemade ice cream either on the road or at our place in downtown Victor.
